

The challenge
A global distribution business, wanted to establish a $20m+ estimated business operation in a new region in the EU, including the deployment of 25 staff.
Our client required help facilitating the establishment of the new business, comply with local laws and regulations and developing and deploying new business processes to support the operations.

The journey
Facilitated and managed the following within half the anticipated timeline:
- Designed, developed and deployed a new account opening process with integrations into SAP and Salesforce;
- Designed and implemented a new employee on-boarding process via Smartsheet with integration into Microsoft Outlook.
- In addition, the scope increased during the project from 1 supplier to 46 suppliers.

The result
Successful project management for the establishment of the new business within a shorter time frame than originally anticipated.
The newly designed and created processes for customer – and employee on-boarding created a new “norm” for the company globally.
This was replicated in many other locations to improve the process, resulting in additional revenue via the newly established office.
